| Introduction | I have reached the empty nest stage. I love to have time with Rick and my kids and grandkids. I enjoy traveling with Rick to the various EFCA churches. My goal this year is to get into better shape. Exercise for the body and mind. I am happy to be a part of the family of God because of Jesus and his sacrifice for me on the cross. I base all that I do on trying to be like him. I am thankful that when I fail he is a loving and forgiving God. My greatest joy is to see my children and eventually my grandchildren and their children following Jesus. My last two years have been a good growth process of finding my satisfaction, significance and security in Him. It is not always easy to keep looking up, kneeling down and reaching out. I love to cook, entertain family and friends, and try to be a good friend to all. The sad part of living here is not having Devin and Pam with us. Leaving my daycare Devin in TX was really hard. I don't want to ever do daycare again as it is like losing a part of the family when we moved. Greatest joys include having family together whenever possible and that includes Devine and Pam and Corinne. |
