| Introduction | With a lifelong passion for reading, Jeanne Waggoner (pen name Wendy Wilson) has enjoyed her experiences as a parent, grandparent, librarian, teacher, and freelance writer. Her child-centered articles have been published in Runner’s World and The Ohio Runner magazines, as well as in local newspapers. Born in Salem, Ohio, Jeanne holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in education. She is a National Board Certified Early Childhood Generalist with 26 years of experience in the classroom. Currently Jeanne is a substitute teacher for Fort Atkinson Schools. Her grown children, Willow and Wyatt, have both always been avid readers. Her granddaughters have been listening to books since before they were born. Jeanne is the author of the juvenile fiction book Just Desserts. |
