| Introduction | Thirty . . . okay . . . forty -something Milly Johnson is from good old Yorkshire mining stock – apart from the half that has a Glaswegian ma. Born and bred in Barnsley, she studied drama at Exeter University, qualified as a teacher then did a truly sensible thing and became a trainee accountant. She has also worked for various psychopaths before surviving to become a humour and traditional verse writer for the greetings card industry. Now she is very proud to say that she is a fully fledged novelist. |
