| Introduction | Ministry leader, survivor and beneficiary of churches and church folk for over a half century. Professionally, I have served as a new church planter, pastor, college and seminary instructor and dean, and community organizer. For much of my 'professional' ministry, I put groceries on the table every day by also landscaping propeties, collecting debts, building airplanes, selling health and life insurance and introducing America to the Information Age. I am now mainly known for serving as a ministry executive in a mainline protestant denomination and the CEO of a religious publishing house. On my most graced filled days, I manage to primarily function as a husband, father, grandfather, friend, church member and resident who is able to enjoy Old School Rhythm and Blues, Cool Jazz, Brown Liquor Blues, Wesleyan hymns and / or 70's and 80's Era Gospel Music over good food and fine spirits. |
