| Introduction | Noor Alam is a freelance news and documentary photographer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Born in 1980, Noor completed his graduation program in photojournalism from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute in 2008. He is a contributor for the British daily, “The Guardian News”. He has also experience working in development INGOs like UNICEF, WFP, UK AID, ACTION AID, GIZ, FOEA, Oil Change International. Noor is particularly interested in research-based, long-term documentary projects, focusing on neglected issues and topics that require attention. Several of his works have been published national and internationally including Time Asia, The Diplomat, The Guardian News, The Herald Newspaper, TIF Magazine, Himal Southasian. |
