| Introduction | Just and old fly fisherman who is setting here trying to figure out where the years went! Seems like yesterday when my Grand Dad was teaching me to swing wet flies. That was 1957 and I've come to realize a lot of water has passed below the bridge since then! In my years on the water I've managed to see the transistion from actual gut leaders to fluorocarbon, cane rods to fiberglass, then graphite, then boron and back to cane. The invention of "The Fly Shop" versus the fishing section of the local hardware store. Waders that aren't made of canvas and actually don't fry you during a day on the river and the demise of the wicker creel. In truth it's been a great trip! |
