Introduction	About the author: Randa Shehadi Breuer is a Lebanese-American writer of fiction, poetry, and educational issues. She holds an MFA in creative writing from American University in Washington, DC. Randa is also an international educator with a passion for literacy. She currently lives in New Delhi. Weeping Over the Ruins, her first novella, has been nominated as a finalist for the Orison Prize in fiction. Randa’s poetry was published in the Mid America Review and shortlisted for the 2018 Fineline Competition.
