| Introduction | My name is Don Miller and was the director of Severson Dells Nature Center outside of Rockford, IL for almost 30 years. I have lived and loved the northern Illinois region for over 60 years. Some of essays in this blog have been published in the "Note From the Dells", "Rock River Times", but many have been gathering dust in a file or hiding in a computer file for years. They have been written over the last 40 years and I have decided to post them in their original state. (Plus add some new ones.) I hope you enjoy! |
