| Introduction | Can I tell you a secret? I used to hate playing piano. I'd play what my mom told me to play and leave as soon as I could. I wouldn't do well for piano teachers and I never really cared. Then I learned how to hear other people's music and play it by ear, and later, I learned how to write my own music. Now, my parents have to tell me to stop playing piano because I'm playing so much! I'll be doing an educational concert to help you do what I did, how to go from playing an instrument to writing your own music for it so you can really love it. I'll be writing more about it on this page. |
