| Introduction | I grew up in upstate NY and have been in DC since attending college at Maryland. I am a huge Yankee fan and have an incredible disdain for all things Boston-related. I have also been a fan of the Expos/Nationals franchise for a number of years, primarily because I thought Tim "Rock" Raines was the sweetest player in the world when I was a kid. I've gone accustomed to watching my teams rise to the occassion only to blow leads and games in the clutch, something that others may think of as disappointing, but I've somehow learned to accept it. Despite my resistance, after several years in DC I'm slowly but surely learning to tolerate the area obsession with the Redskins. |
