About me

Introduction	10/30/2008 Well it has been almost 3 years since I first started this Blog. I am now 55 years old and this Dec 5, 2008 will be my 3 year anniversary of my bilateral mastectomy following diagnosis with Stage IIIc Invasive Lobular breast cancer. I have learned that the challenges of living with breast cancer do not end when treatment ends, even when you remain NED many years later. But life DOES go on and can be just as exciting, boring, beautiful, depressing, hopeful or disappointing as you choose to make it. I will continue to chronicle my journey here and hopefully share a little of what my life has taught me. 12/2005 I am 52 years old and a 5 year breast cancer survivor. I am now facing a new primary cancer in the other breast. This is a record of my journey thru the many decisions, procedures and emotions involved in breast cancer treatment.
