Tuesday's Tantrum

About me

Introduction	A wannabe stay at home, working mom with 2 kids and a husband going to medical school. Not quite staying sane, but definitely staying a mom! (I would also enter the Olympics as a professional breastfeeder if that was a sport... which it should be! You shed calories, right?) I love playing hide and seek, having dance parties in the kitchen, and anything chocolate.
Interests	I know it's weird to have a picture of my two-year-old's feet as my profile picture... but I can explain! I love the simplicity of that moment. We had just gotten back from church and the baby had fallen asleep. Daddy had to take care of something which meant I could set my toddler with her toys while I got the dishes done or attended to whatever needed attending to OR I could spend quality time with her. It was at that moment that I broke out the nail polish. I let her choose from 4 different colors of glittery nail polish that we had given to her for Christmas. (What girl doesn't love glitter?) She wanted one foot pink, one foot blue, one hand green, and one hand purple. Soon, she had a rainbow of glittery nails and she couldn't have been happier. It had only taken 15 minutes or so but it had made her day! (And I still had time to start the laundry before the baby woke up! Go Mommy!) I chose this picture because this moments represents me. I live for those small moments when we can truly touch the lives of the people we love. As Moms, we have so many things to do throughout the day and our minds are usually so jumbled. Here's to taking time to be more present in our lives and let the dust settle a bit so we can relive our childhood through our children's eyes full of wonder.
