| Favorite movies | My favoties tend to change over time. "Favorites" tend to nail one to the wall. That having been said, "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" and "Twelve Angry Men" are right up there. |
| Favorite music | Acoustic singer-songwriters reach me. Mostly men. Gorka, Winchester, Mulvey, Neil Young. Many more. Blues, Reggae, Americana. But who couldn't like straight ahead Jazz? Some Bluegrass if it isn't awfully religious or political. |
| Favorite books | "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn". Read it every summer for years. "The Shock Doctrine". More recently, "Wild Fermentation" and "Fruitless Fall". |
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Au contraire. Forks are evolved from sticks, and both of them long preceded the spoon. Forks are utilitarian; they are devised to get food from here to there. Spoons are refined; they are designed to get foods from here to there with grace.
