| Introduction | I am a freelance writer specialising in environmental issues, in particular environmental living. I also write articles on a variety of other topics. My experience includes producing corporate communications material for the private, voluntary and public sectors; writing feature articles on green living, parenting, travel and other topics; providing copy for and editing websites; and fifteen years working in learning and development producing written and online learning materials. I am experienced in environmental issues - I’ve adopted a green lifestyle myself and have spent five years working for the Environment Agency. I am also working on a novel, working title ‘China in Her Hand’. It is a political thriller set in a possible dystopian future, and deals with issues such as terrorism, race relations and falling fertility rates. I have written short stories including romance, thrillers and horror. I am married to Pete and have a two year old son. We live in Birmingham, England with our two cats. |
