| Introduction | I hand-weave TABLE RUNNERS and MATS using colorful natural fibers and re-cycled materials: natural reeds, grasses, braided straw, and wood veneer. I add edge trims of traditional cloth from many world cultures. FUSION de MAYA SCARVES, SHAWLS, and DECORATIVE PILLOWS. I design colorful striped textiles that are produced in two Mayan backstrap-loom weaving cooperatives in the Highlands of Guatemala - Asociación Maya de Desarrollo Cooperativa in Sololá and. Mayan Foundation in Panajachel. These are Fair-Wage/Fair Trade co-ops.As a customer of the coops I proudly support Mayan weavers with income opportunities and sustains important Mayan textile traditions. GALLERY EXHIBITIONS.
