| Introduction | I am a recovering poet. My work deals with material sensuality, the mundane turned magical. I am interested in illuminating the spaces between; between pleasure and pain, fear and exhilaration, the sensual and the sexual. Somewhere in the unmappable space between childhood and adulthood our perception shifts. What was once light and buoyant becomes base, earthbound. My work defines that line. I take the ordinary and reframe, make it new, recapture a sense of discovery. |
