Introduction	My name is Jacqueline I was raised in the beautiful west Michigan lakeshore community Douglas. My Mom moved me and my two sisters here when I was six, to be closer to her family who all lived in Douglas and the surrounding area. When I was seven she opened a little coffee shop in the middle of the one road, Downtown Douglas area. This little shop is where I have learned all of my life's lessons and formed many lasting friendships. I never realized the depth of my love for this community and the Lakeshore area until I moved to East Lansing for college. While there I found myself barely making it through the week just to be able to pull off I-96 on exit 41 and finally breath a sigh of relief... This is Home. This blog is my way of showing appreciation to the people, places, and food of Douglas and the Lakeshore Community of West Michigan. Happy Reading
