| Introduction | I am currently into baking and am making up for years of not baking, so much so that my nearest asked me if I was alright and had I banged into a pole recently because it is like a cake explosion in our kitchen. I am looking at why cooking is so central to my family of origin and to my grandparents and what are the signature dishes of my parents and grandparents as well as exploring what will become my dishes. This is a honest record of my journey of life in baking. What you also need to know about me is that I have two small beautiful children who love chocolate and stand watching me cook with icing sugar on their noses. |
