| Introduction | I enjoy creating solutions that work! Streamlining business processes with the right architecture is what keeps me in IT. I love to share my knowledge especially the 'Gotcha' scenarios that I learned throughout my experience as an Implementation Consultant. Prior to my IT career, I was studying to be an accountant, and every month-end we spent endless hours reconciling, and printing a lot of paper. It eventually became a tedious task. It is then, I realized, there has to be a better way. During an acquisition, I was partnered with a BSA to complete a system conversion. Doing so, opened up a whole new world, and I quickly was able to start learning different software applications. Eventually, my monthly reconciliation were completed within 1 day rather than 4. I started to focused more on data analysis to identify cost efficiencies and improve the bottom line. I quickly transitioned into IT after the conversion project was complete I started as core developer of analytics to a consultant overtime. Switching career paths is the best decision I ever made. I absolutely love working with customers to compile requirements, and implementing their solutions. |
