| Introduction | Hi my full name is Charles Fredrick Worth I was born in Bourne, England. I'm known for my garments and designs and have been well recognized as "The Father of Haute Couture" to this day I still can't believe it. However, it was not easy and I had to work hard for my title of success. I grew up with an alcoholic father from the age of eleven and it caused harsh times and money issues for my mom, my mom was forced into hard labor and I was as well. When I became an adult I was expected to choose the career path of an attorney, I came from a generation of them but it was never what I wanted to do, so I decided to take my own path and I chose the career of a dressmaker. I've also traveled and lived in a few other states taking on different jobs, but it was in 1845 when I moved to Paris and this was truly the start to my career. It took a lot of work and effort but I'm happy to say that I am now a well know dressmaker during the Industrilization Era and known as "The Father of Haute Couture".
