| Introduction | My daughter was born with contractures of her arms, legs and little finger almost a year ago and recently we finally received the results of the genetics testing to confirm she has Beals Syndrome. The disorder is so rare its hard to find support groups or anyone that suffers from the disorder. My husband and I are just trying to educate ourselves as much as possible so we know what to expect and how we can help her thrive. She goes to physical therapy three times a month and it has been helpful--although she is still delayed in crawling and many of the other things I see babies her age doing. Anyway, although we are not exactly just starting out on this journey we still need plenty of help finding our way! |
