| Interests | I spent 7-consecutive years fishing 35-weekends a year in professional bass fishing tournaments throughout the Midwest including Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma. I have twice represented Kansas as a member of the Kansas B.A.S.S. Federation State Team that included a top 10 finish in the world team championship against other 6-man teams representing 36-states and 3-foriegn countries. I also qualified for the Tournament of Champions for the first ever "Florida Freshwater Fishing Championship". In 2011, I wrote a blog for the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife and Parks that in just 90-days became the most followed blog on the State web site. That Blog was closed and has now been replaced by this, my own personal Blog. |

| Favorite books | I have read an average of 4-5 books a month for the past 40-years. While I enjoy all types of books I prefer non-fiction. My favorite are true stories of courage and success while overcoming great hardships. That might include in business, personal survial and other situations where people became successful through their personal drive, efforts and commitment. I am all about reading books dealing with success regardless of what field or endeavor. |
