Introduction	I am a busy 32 year old mother of two daughters with two dogs, a cat, a rabbit and a wonderful husband of 13 years. For many years, Joe and I were foster parents, which is how our daughters came to us: Katie Grace at age 4 in 2003 (now 11) and Stephanie at 13 in 2005 (now 18 and expecting her first child!). Since January 2010 I have been the Contributing Editor of Far Above Rubies, a blog by and for Christian women. I love to crochet, write, draw, knit, paint, do calligraphy and wall murals, read and sew and I have a lot of interest in learning more about photography. I prefer e-mail over phone calls, chocolate over vanilla, and Coke over Pepsi. I love going to the movies alone and camping with friends. I love learning about American history, particularly the Revolutionary period. When I grow up, I'd like to have my own luncheonette and bakery. If I could have one superpower, I'd like to be able to be invisible. My Year of Domesticity is my plan to be a better wife, mother and homemaker in 2011
