| Introduction | November 5, 2011 will mark the day I attempt my first marathon. In doing so, I have partnered with the American Cancer Society's fundraising team, DetermiNation, in honor of my late mother, Susan Zalac (11/5/49-2/24/06) who passed away of brain cancer. This year, I want to celebrate her birthday, what would have been November 5, by giving others battling with that terrible disease a fighting chance.
