| Introduction | Born in Niles, MI in 1947 to Harl and Catherine (Lohroff) Luth. The oldest of three children. I have a sister, Leah, and my brother, Lynn Michael, who succombed to leukemia in 2004 at age 50. Lived in Decatur, MI until 1967 when I married Lance Novak, also from Decatur, MI, and moved to Grand Forks, ND. Lance was in US Air Force. We've lived in North Dakota, Montana, California, Cleveland OH, Rome Italy (3 yrs),O'Fallon IL, Omaha NE, Naples Italy (4 yrs), &Trenton, IL, Dayton OH where we currently reside. Lance is an Italian linguist. We have a daughter & two sons and 5 grandchildren with a 6th on the way. I was employed at the sheriff's office in Omaha NE as a dispatcher and 12 yrs. here in Dayton OH as secretary to investigations at a local police dept. I now stay at home, quilt and write stories, as well as operate a small online quilting & pottery sales business. |

| Favorite books | Was a big Stephen King fan, but now I tend to read more historical type books with emphasis on pioneer lifestyles. Nicholas Sparks is one of my fav authors and currently am reading the Twilight Saga series by Stephanie Meyer. |
