| Introduction | After graduating as a Spanish teacher, I decided there was no way I was ready for a 7-5 job.. so instead, I took a year off, which has been WAY more full of surprises than I thought it would, consistently proving that things WILL work out in the end.. So far, the year has taken me from a commercial salmon fishing job in AK this summer to nannying for a bilingual family in DC, to Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, to MN, and then to an orphanage in Perú, which is where I'm currently volunteering.. and waiting to see what crazy thing happens next :) |
