| Introduction | Since my very first beer I was a Bud Light man. I got into Craft beer when my father moved to Colorado and stated that he wanted to take me to try some GOOD! beer. I was skeptical but decided to give it a shot. He took me to Phantom Canyon Brewing in downtown Colorado Springs and I ordered a six beer taster and was hooked. By the end of the night I was and IPA man and a newborn HopHead. I came home and began buying every bomber I could get my hands on. I tried every brewery, type, flavor, size, you name it and if I could get my hands on it I tried it. A few years later I began to keep a journal of all the beers I was tasting and rating them on several characteristics. To date I have tasted approximately 275 beers. About this same time I began to HomeBrew. I love everything about craft beer and want to share my passion with others. I am trying new beers every week and want to share my thoughts on them. This blog is an internet version of my journal except that I will have more information in the blog including venue the beer was tasted, service, food parings, books I,m reading, articles, brews I am brewing at home, etc. I hope you enjoy. |
