Introduction The 18th and 19th centuries intrigue me from an escape aspect, and so I surround myself with a home that reflects the beauty of these earlier times. In fact, our house was built in 1888. And yes, that is not early for even America, since officially, in the USA, "early" is defined as being prior to 1850, but for Oregon, it is worthy. I do love now, each and every moment. I love the ease of life with all that modernity affords. Combine the ambiance of olden days with the luxury of today and all is perfect. My dolls and other art forms must reflect the earlier days. My main focus in life is beauty as I see it. For me, this mostly comes in the form of the home and how it is loved and cared for. All things in beauty! I am so happy for your visit here at my home where I hope to inspire you too to dwell in peace and love and joy through order and beauty. Thank you. Christine
Interests I am schooled in many of the decorative arts primarily of the 18th and 19th century that are mostly American. I enjoy utilizing aspects of this knowledge in the making of dolls and other sundries known commonly as fancy work.
Favorite Movies Those depicting the beauty of earlier times. But then, I also love a good thriller!
Favorite Music Many of the classics and some jazz and some rock and roll.
Favorite Books Classics, of course! I also enjoy books explaining the importance of one's mind and how one uses it. My favorite so far is The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel.
