| Introduction | I was born Esther Stahl in a Montana Hutterite colony. I always had a sense that there was more to life than living in the colony, and at age 24 I made the decision to break away and leave the colony to become self-sufficient and independent. I followed the desire of my heart to go to a Bible school in Alberta, Canada. My desire is to capture on this blog my life as a Hutterite for 24 years and my life after I made the decision to walk away and become independent. |
