| Introduction | I can't tell you why I struck on the idea of cycling over 10,000km in six months (as I'm by no means an avid cyclist) but the thought of travelling across a continent under my own steam really appeals. Add that to the fact I've always been fond of a good challenge or a crazy adventure and once I'd got this one in my mind I just couldn't shake the idea. Throw the arival of the credit crunch into the mix and it all added up to the perfect opportunity to take a stint away from a job and city I love and hit the road for a while... ...And then I found a girl crazy enough to want to share my adventures, I asked her to marry me, she said yes, I asked her to cycle across South America with me, she said hmm... then yes! So here we are seeing the world one cycle tour at a time... |
