| Introduction | Tom Severin is a member of California Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs (CA4WDC) and United Four Wheel Drive Associations. He is certified by the International 4 Wheel Drive Trainers Assocations (I4WDTA) and as a CA4WDC instructor. He is a former Deputy Wildlife Conservation Officer for the State of Pennsylvania where his duties included law enforcement; public relations and speaking; hunter education; and highway-killed deer retrieval. He has an extensive background (forty plus years experience) with four-wheel drive vehicles, on and off road, in various conditions and countries. He imported a Jeep while living in England. Tom is a graduate of Purdue University and recognized expert in shared service accounting management and management information systems. He was a presenter for the 1996 International Conference on the Study of Work Teams and is a frequent speaker on self-directed work team concepts. He currently operates a training and tour service specializing in Four Wheel Drive vehicles. His instruction is friendly in a casual environment that is non judgmental. Non-lethal mistakes are encouraged as a way to learn under the watchful eyes of the instructor. |
