| Introduction | I am currently a senior at Eastern Connecticut State University soon to be graduating in May 2012. I major in Political Science with a minor in Peace and Human Rights. Throughout my undergraduate career I maintained a strong academic record and pursued professional reseach experience while being involved with a myriad of extracirricular activities. I am engaged in my community and have volunteered over 300 hours. I am passionate about social justice with a particular interest in food security and environmental justice. I think everyone should have access to fresh and healthy food and an appreciation and opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors! I enjoy living a "green" lifestyle and support my local farmer markets! I currently work full time through AmeriCorps VISTA as a Volunteer Service Coordinator at Eastern Connecticut State University's Center for Community Engagement! |
