Introduction First off my real name is Denise and I was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (Washington State). I'm also amateur writer. I do little bit of writing at www.panhistoria.com; where you can find me writing as Elvina Herewood for two Tolkien-style novels or you can also find me under these other characters of mine Catherine Morland and Margarte Hale at panhistoria's first Regency novel called Vices and Virtues. For my science fiction story... more of a blog, Este's Time Lord Adventures through her story called The Lost Princess. This is set before the Doctor became a The Doctor, before the Time War etc.. All this can be found www.panhistoria.com. Oh! Did I mention that I also write poetry? I do. I'll be posting some of my poetry on here as well.
Interests hiking, biking, watching sports like the Seahawks, Mariners, Seattle Sounders, and also watching English Premiere soccer (football and my favorite English Premier teams are Chelsea and Liverpool. I also enjoy doing day trips on the weekends for example: drive to Mt. Rainer or to Mt. St. Helens Volcanic Monument. Huge fan of Jane Austen, the Bronte Sisters, Elizabeth Gaskell. Did I mention that I'm a Doctor Who fan? Probably not. *blushes* Since the return of Doctor Who in 2005, I have been a fan, ranging from Paul McGann to David Tennant and the new Doctor, Matt Smith.
Favorite Movies All of the James Bond movies, Period Movies: Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey, Fantasy Movies: Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia (The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe), Prince Caspin, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Bollywood Films: Mangel Pandey, Dhoom 2, Jodha Akbar, Science Fiction: Star Wars Ep. 1-6; Star Trek Movies 1-11, Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), Forbidden Planet, Classic Science Fiction movies of the 1950's.
Favorite Music Love all types of music, except for hip-hop and rap. This ranges from Classical Music, Opera, Classic Rock, World Music, New Age Music, and the occasional heavy metal band like Nightwish (Finnish/Swedish metal band) and Broadway Musicals (The Phantom of the Opera, being my all-time favorite Broadway Musical.) I enjoy listening to bands from Scotland like Big Coungtry, Wolfstone. or the lastest Irish group called Celtic Thunder or The High Kings for some traditional Irish folk music. For several years, I've been following the Irish group called Anuna for their 12th Century Celtic music, which I love. Darren Hayes of whom I really enjoy his music from his former band Savage Garden to his departure as a solo artist. And after listening to his three new songs from his new album. Great work. *smiles* And of course, Sarah Brightman, my favorite since....well... The Phantom of the Opera. She is stands along side my other favorite female singers, Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, and Shirley Bassey
Favorite Books Jane Austen, Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, David Eddings, Arthur Conan Doyle, The Phanton of the Opera by Gaston LeRoux, the Bronte sisters (Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights), Elisabeth Gaskell's (North and South) Agatha Christie, Martha Grimes, Timothy Zahn (Star Wars The Thrawn Trilogy), and CS Lewis.
