About me

Introduction Clay Good has either attended or taught in Juneau schools most years since 1967. Clay taught oceanography, biology and physical sciences at Juneau-Douglas High School 1984-2007, during which time he also coached the National Ocean Sciences Bowl, Alaska Region perennial championship teams from Juneau; chaired the science department; served as president of the Juneau-Education Association; and won awards from the National Association of Marine Educators and the National Association of Geoscience Teachers. Presently Clay is semi-retired, working as an educational consultant. Besides Clay's life-long interest in education, his other life-long interests include family, boating, fishing, hunting, biking,hiking, snowboarding and playing jazz.
