| Introduction | Olga Merekina is a choreographer and educator based in Shanghai. She is fascinated by movement as an educational and artistic medium—a way of knowing, thinking, and informing. Her artistic projects explore social and environmental issues, while her works were presented in HOW Art Museum, MoCA Shanghai, Shanghai Museum of Glass, and Wuzhen Theater Festival. Olga graduated from the School of Intermedia Art at the China Academy of Art (Hangzhou) in 2014. Her master's thesis explored the problems of intercultural communication through dance. |
