| Introduction | I have a PhD in microbiology and did a postdoc in cancer biology. I then spent a few years at home with my kids dabbling in freelance science writing, podcasting and science illustration. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Biology at a small regional college where I teach introductory biology, advanced cell biology, microbiology, scientific writing and grant writing.
