| Introduction | Anna Lukindo is the eponymous designer and artist behind the Anna Luks label. Her devotion and strong passion in creating her own unique styles from clothing to accessories started from childhood. Originally trained and worked as an architectural draughtswoman in Tanzania, her passion led her to Middlesex University where she graduated with a minor in Textile and a BA {Hons} in Fashion. Her inspirations are drawn from everyday surroundings be it art, architecture nature or our human differences. Her insatiable hunger for style is vividly translated in her work. Aesthetically her signature styles explore femininity and modernity, with an Anna Luks twist. Naturally attracted to working with organic fabrics, the line has a touch of vintage flare, edgy, fun and stylish with an effortless chic look to it. With the combination of handy-craft pieces, she creates eccentric garments for the Luks label. Her love for the bold has been a keen dictator in her use of colour palettes and prints, which have been a growing focal point for her work through the years |
