| Introduction | As a clinical psychotherapist for 12 years, I have devoted time to helping transform the lives of children, teens, and adults through my work at the Illinois Baptist Children's Home & Family Services. I am proud to be the creator and co-author of SMART Education, which has helped to share information about healthy relationships to over 1500 youth in Illinois. In 2009, I became Mrs. Illinois International and was 1st Runner-up at the Mrs. International 2009 pageant which I attribute to my work with educating youth. I am currently the Social Marketing Coordinator at Egyptian Health Department and serve on the NCO Wellness Committee. My overall service efforts continue to focus on helping community children. Children's Mental Health Education and Awareness is a motivating force in all of my speaking engagements and advocacy. |
