| Introduction | Well... I was was raised in Nairobi, Kenya! God's foot rest, a very beautiful country. I learned a lot in my experience living in Kenya. My mothers' favorite Motto was "waste not want not." I came to the U.S about 10 years ago, determined to make it in the land of milk and honey, where the streets were paved with gold. You see we were never wealthy, we did not exactly live hand to mouth, but it was very close. We always worked hard for what we had and didn’t have much to spare. Money was always a source of contention between my parents. I determined that I would work hard and succeed! And so I did. I worked hard, graduated college at the University of Utah, graduatig cum laude. I currently work with teenagers. I believe that children, with good role models will acheive much and hence my desire to influence teens for good! |
