Introduction My work explores sites where performance and intimacy, architecture and the visceral collide. I use textiles as a way into my work exploring ideas of implausible games played out within the performance space. I often use the audience as part of the work, moving them around the space, removing their clothes, tying their shoelaces. I use the architecture of the gallery to engage the viewer, who is sometimes asked to physically compromise themselves in order to be part of the work by crawling through or climbing over.
