| Introduction | If you had asked me when I was growing up what I wanted to be when I grew up, a baker is probably one of the last things I would have ever said. I never had much interest in baking. I always knew that when I grew up I wanted to be a wife and a mother. That was my passion, and it still is. I have been happily married to my husband James for the past 14 years, and am blessed with 2 beautiful children. Actually, my children are where my love of baking started. Kids LOVE cupcakes!! I mean, cake is good and all, but you need a fork to eat it. But Cupcakes...They are your own individual dessert, that you can eat WITH YOUR HANDS! What's not to love?? So, when my kids started Preschool I started making whimsical, fun cupcakes. I had lots of people ask me if I had ever thought of selling my cupcakes, and I really never had. However, once both my kids started going to school all day every day I decided that I needed something "Just For Me". And that is when "Creative Cupcakes by Angie" was born. A chance to spend my days doing something I love. I truly believe that every cupcake is a little piece of art, and should always bring a smile to your face!! |
