| Introduction | I worked in the Australian Department of Defence for over 32 years. I also served for several years in the Australian Army Reserve. I began writing book reviews by accident, after I purchased a book sponsored by the Australian Army History Unit (AHU). A friend and former work colleague was the head of the AHU; I made a couple of comments about the book, he then asked me to write a review for the AHU website, and it all grew from there. I decided recently to publish all of the reviews I have written on this blog. I will update the blog intermittently, usually after the sponsor who provided a book has published the review. I am happy to receive comments on any of the reviews (editing.kadjcd@gmail.com), and will attempt to respond to emails in a reasonably timely fashion. |
