| Introduction | Met Melinda when she visited a college I used to work at, in PR, at the time she was a television news reporter and producer in Johnson City, TN. Melinda became a frequent media visitor to the campus, and did such good work that my admiration for her grew. As a writer myself, I particularly admired, and still admire, her skill with words. And as I got to know her a little, I found she was also a kind, intelligent, and naturally friendly person. I am now away from PR work, working full-time as a writer of fiction.
