| Introduction | Stephen is a doctoral student at the University of Connecticut NEAG School of Education studying cognition, instruction, and learning technology. His primary area of research is game-based education, utilizing video and tabletop games in aiding high school and college students with the objective of mastering state and national standards. He works in collaboration with Dr. Roger Travis, Associate Professor of Classics and co-founder of the Video Games and Human Values Initiative at the University of Connecticut, designing research studies and practomimetic activities for The Pericles Group, a collaborative of educators dedicated to the creation and implementation of academic roleplaying games.
