Introduction	I am at a great time in my life. I live in So. California, with a husband who is a “gift.” I am retired and able to fill my life with choices. My days are full of diverse activities. At various times I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a gardener, a chef, a reader, a writer, a teacher, a student, an artist, a knitter, an activist, a volunteer, a neighbor. I climb into bed each night, tired and satisfied. Yet, when someone asks me, “What have you been doing lately?” I find myself challenged to come up with spontaneous words to describe my reality. What does fill my life? This Blog is being created for me, as a tool to capture those moments of satisfaction that add to my life and my sense of self.
