Introduction Bob’s work has appeared widely in literary, scholarly, and commercial publications, including Rathalla Review, New Plains Review, Centennial Review, Studies in American Fiction, American Book Review, New Letters Review of Books, Sierra magazine, Chronogram, Rain Taxi, and elsewhere. In addition to Where the Wind Blew (a novel), he is the author of Teaching Writing to Adults and co-author of The Heath Literature for Composition. His new novel, A Great Fullness, is forthcoming from Fomite Press. His work has been anthologized in The Whirlybird Anthology of Kansas City Writers and by Rathalla Review. He is a Pushcart Prize nominee, and his nonfiction and fiction have been honored by the Kansas Authors Literary Club, the Kansas Writers Association, and the Winfield Arts and Humanities Council. He holds a doctorate in American Literature from Duke University and is listed with Poets&Writers. Bob is the Director of Development for the Sierra Club’s Kansas Chapter. He also teaches at the University of Saint Mary, Leavenworth. Bob and his wife Heather make their home in Overland Park, Kansas.
