| Introduction | What can I say? Where do I begin? There's no one particular aspect that I can draw your attention to and say, "Well, that's me." So, it's best for me to lay off describing myself & leave it to you to discover me bit by bit. |
| Interests | Reading, watching movies, listening to music, travelling, writing letters, poetry & journal, shopping (if I have the money!), spending time with my dog, & sometimes sitting by myself and doing absolutely nothing! |
| Favorite movies | Oh....tons of them. But all time favorites are The Sound of Music & Mary Poppins. I can watch them over & over again. Other movies that I've really liked (& this is off the top of my hat) are: The Reader, Kung fu Panda, Up, How to Steal a Million, the Gran Torino, Twelve Angry Men, 3.10 to Yuma, Lord of the Rings, The Outsiders & the Ocean series. This is not even the tip of the iceberg. In Hindi movies I like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, A Wednesday, Chupke Chupke, Golmaal (the old one), Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, & Hera Pheri (Part 1). Again not an extensive list by any means. |
| Favorite music | I don't have much exposure to world music, so my tastes don't appear to be really diverse. However, I like hindi songs, preferably the older ones over the newer ones. I also like Western Classical Music, but once again, haven't heard enough to be able to say that I know a lot about them. |
| Favorite books | Another list? Oh well, here goes...Pride & Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, PG Wodehouse, Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, Earle Stanley Gardeners, short stories by Jeffery Archer, Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K Jerome, The Harry Potter series up to the Goblet of Fire (after that I think JK Rowling went Beserk), the Chronicles of Chrestomanci, Enid Blyton, Satyajit Ray's Feluda, Alice in Wonderland, Narnia series...phew! There are loads more and I am tired of typing now |
