| Favorite movies | ļæ½ļæ½I have many favorite movies. But if I had to pick any one of them, Iād go for The Dark Knight There have been many superhero movies like Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Spider-Man and many more but no comic book superhero movie the standards set by our very own savior of Gotham, our Dark Knight - Batman. Though there have been some good superhero movies like the Spider-Man series (Toby McGuire one), but Nolanās Dark Knight trumps them all in every possible way. Christopher Nolan took an initiative to make a superhero movie at the time when no superhero movie was making success, leave alone being box office success. The movie is way too catchy, right from the first scene. That pulsating bank heist, marvelous dialogues and the unexpected entry of Joker in that grandeur of a style- only a genius like Nolan could have worked that out that perfectly! The Villain- Every superhero movie needs a villain. The antagonist is the main element in these kind of movies. Dark Knight had the perfect villain- The Joker and in Heath Ledger they found the perfect actor to portray him. His immense work to adapt to his character, his acting and his overall portrayal felt so original. He even went on to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor posthumously and was the first actor to be nominated for Oscars for a superhero movie The Direction - Can I even judge Nolanās direction? No! Itās just way too perfect Make up and Costumes - Batmanās costume, Jokerās make-up and Two-Faceās makeup are state of art. Dialogues - āThe night is darker before dawnā , āIf you are good at something, never do it for freeā, i could just keep going on and on quoting every single dialogue there is in this movie.
