Introduction"O what love this is, that God would protect us from replacing the everlasting heights of admiring his power with the futile attempt to boast in our own." ~ John Piper
InterestsLearning, reading, writing (blogging, journaling, essays, poetry), getting to know the nature and character of God through His Word, Road trips with my husband, laughing, board games, cooking, swing dancing, serving in my local church, I love frequenting local coffee shops, bookstores, and beautiful parks where I go to read, write, mediate, and exercise. Fellowship with my church family and friends-- sharing meals together, experiencing new places, people, and activities (within reason), I also love getting lost and having to find my way around a new city by trial and error, explore as you go. I enjoy studying the theology behind my passions. My greatest passion is the local church and discipleship within the local church. The majority of churches are missing the mark in terms of what it means to be the Body of Christ to one another--true fellowship, accountability, and love. As Americans we have no idea what it means to "have all things in common" or to "break bread together daily". I know there isn't a perfect church, but that doesn't mean we should be lazy about following the New Testament model as closely as possible.
