Introduction I think the first thing I ever cooked was a fried baloney sandwich. I loved those when I was a kid. I was in eighth grade when I cooked my first real meal, lasagna (our neighbor Mimi taught me how to make it one afternoon). There was something calming in building that beautiful casserole, and when I tasted it I felt that I had really accomplished something great. Lasagna was my 'special company', or 'special occasion' go to dish for years...

I probably dreamt about searching the web for the perfect marinade for spider, because it's usually very bitter by itself.
